Michael J. Accavitti was appointed to the position of Director – Dodge Brand and SRT Marketing Communications, Chrysler Group in May 2007. Prior to this assignment, Accavitti served as Director – Motorsports and SRT Product Planning and Marketing. In his position, Accavitti is responsible for global marketing efforts involving Dodge cars, trucks, minivans and commercial vehicles, as well as managing the development of strategy and business plans for motorsports and Street and Racing Technology marketing.

Accavitti joined Chrysler Corporation in January 1977, as an assembler at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant.
